Kors's career was on the rise. in 1997, he then designed women’s ready to wear clothing for LVHM's Celine fashion house that grew rapidly owing to his directions. In 1998, Kors became Creative Director at Celine. In the following year, LVMH bought 33% stakes of Michael Kors brand.
